Submissions are accepted via e-mail as attachments in Microsoft word only.

You OWN the copyright to your chapbooks!

Manuscript must include:
         Cover Title & Sub Title (if you have one)

   1.  Title Page with Poet’s Full Name  & birth year (Necessary for credentials & ISBN)
   2.  Table of Contents
   3.  Short Bio (photo – optional)
   4.  Dedication  (optional)
   5.  Feedback / comments obtained from friends, family or poets 
                   may be added to the back cover of your chapbook. 
                   Check the ones that are a 'must' - otherwise we choose.   :- )
   A)  Do you wish to add a price on the back of your chapbook?  How much?
                (Chapbooks do not have a ‘bar code’)
    B)  Acknowledgements Page
                 (for previously published poems / chapbooks)

 
 
 
 

Chapbooks may be published in 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, and 40 pages
(not including introduction pages).


The details of the chapbook breaks down thus:

     The cover - front Title Page & Sub Title + Your Name
                           Inside:  Title Page
                                       Copyright Page
                                       Dedication Page
                                       Table of Contents
                                        Short Bio
                                        Back cover - Feedback / comments ( & price? optional)

Chapbooks are 5.5" wide by 8.5" length with a card stock cover
      and therefore:  55 characters per line,
                               35 lines max (or it will overflow onto next page -
                                   one line or two on next page not ideal, but
                                   overflow of 1/2 page or  3/4 of next page is OK
                   

       Poems Pages:
                            Page length poems (1 poem per page )
                             for any poem longer than 1 page, it will take 2 pages.

                             Maximum line length per poem is 35 lines.
                            The spaces between the stanzas count as lines.

                             Line width should be restricted to 55 characters
                             (includes word spaces)
